The Art Bus, inspired by the music and contemporary art of West Africa in the We Face Forward exhibition, was created to travel all over Manchester providing free art and music performances and workshops for local communities. From mid May it’s been travelling across the city carrying artists and musicians and has appeared at a huge range of venues in local communities from libraries and café’s to schools. It's been promoting the exhibition and providing exciting music and creative workshop taster sessions which have encouraged members of local communities to visit the exhibition and take part in the events.
